Trafigura group helps to re-establish historic African trade route

First shipment of copper successfully arrives in the Angolan port of Lobito by train from Democratic Republic of the Congo.


Luanda, 24th September 2018 – Trafigura Group Pte Ltd (“Trafigura”), one of the world’s leading independent commodity trading companies has successfully taken the first step towards reopening one of Africa’s most historic trade routes, with an epic train journey that ended in the Angolan port of Lobito on Saturday 22nd September this year.

Dubai, 22 February 2018 - Puma Energy, the global integrated midstream and downstream energy company, hosted its first Be Road Safe event specifically created for the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Dubai today which was also sponsored by Impala Terminals. The event aims to promote the importance of road safety and highlight existing risks across the region. Forty eight countries have taken part in the initiative to date through the Road Safety Relay.
